What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a unique, effective and safe medical system, which has been in continual use for over 200 years. It is based on the principle of 'like cures like' and it works by stimulating and restoring the body's natural ability to heal itself.
Homeopaths view disease as an imbalance within the functioning of the person and they seek to correct this imbalance through the use of small doses of non-toxic, highly diluted, but powerful remedies.
The remedies, many of which are based on well known plant, mineral and animal substances, are taken in the form of sugar tablets or as a liquid and are non-addictive.
Homeopathy is complementary to conventional medicine and works alongside local GPs and the NHS.
