Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of mind, a state of deep relaxation.  It's a bit like daydreaming.  In this deeply relaxed state your logical mind slows down, and allows your unconcious mind, which controls most of your behaviour, to listen more easily.

Hypnotherapy uses this hypnotic trance state to talk to your unconcious mind, and help you to make the changes you want to make.

There are various methods that can be used within the session, and these will be discussed with your therapist at your initial appointment.

Anyone can be hypnotised (if they want to be), and no one can be hypnotised against their will.

Hypnotherepy can help with:

  • Weight Management
  • Smoking
  • Stress Management
  • Phobias (flying, dentist etc.)
  • Breaking habits
  • Pain management
  • Performance and achievement
  • Anxiety
  • Emotional and relationship problems

  • Unwanted or irrational thoughts and ideas
  • Feelings - jealousy, guilt, grief, anger etc.

Anthony is qualified and experienced in the area of hypnotherapy and counselling and uses these skills within the context of empowering a person to make changes in their life. 

Every individual has their own way of experiencing the world and coping with difficulties, and he believes that it is important that the way chosen to work towards a solution is also individual and meaningful for each person.
 
Anthony Ward is available for treatments at Muscle & Stress Complementary Health Centre on Saturday Mornings from 9am to 1pm.

Treatment cost £45.00 per session (1 hour)

The number of sessions needed varies, but your individual treatment will be tailored to meet your needs. This will be discussed with you at your initial session.
