Leg and Sciatica Pain
About two thirds of adults will experience hip or low back pain; the way this exibits itself is described as local, radiating or chronic pain.
Local pain is mild in severity and is generally short-lived compared to radiating pain and comes as the result of an accident, but none the less should be treated at the earliest possible opportunity.
Radiating pain is much more severe and may have started as local pain, but was left untreated and has caused postural complications; or if nerves are involved, can cause referred pain to another area ie Sciatica.
Chronic Hip or Back pain will nag you for a long time and in some cases may force you to alter your lifestyle significantly.
We have 3 treatments for leg and Sciatica Pain as follows:
Track and Treat (‡)
Alan Hughes M.Ed, BSc Human Sciences, FEATC, SNATC, TDLB assessor, NHSTA, MBHMA, MGCMT, MCThA
Alan Hughes is a specialist in muscular and nerve entrapment and believes it is pointless treating the symptom without addressing the source of the problem, because if left unresolved the symptoms will more than likely re-occur. Using his skills he will both track and treat the causes.
This is an innovative and extremely effective treatment with a very high success rate. In most cases, all it takes is ONE treatment!
Alan uses his extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology to explain why a condition has occurred and how to prevent it from re-occurring in the future. The result being, that many of his patients comment "why has nobody ever explained it to me like this before?" and "It is a great relief to know what's going on."
Alan will assess how the muscles and nerve fibres are laying and how they are reacting to stress, trauma and other painful conditions, and by treating the cause bring lasting pain relief and mobility
This treatment is of approximately an hours' duration, however, where necessary, Alan will extend this to beyond the hour in order to finish the treatment of your condition - at no additional cost.
£45.00.
Alan is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the daytime and Monday and Thursday evenings up to 8pm.
"...I can't put into words how grateful I am to you for relieving me of the pain I thought I had to live with...Thank you so very much."

Bio-mechanical Podiatry
Andrew Cast M.Sc., S.R.Ch, D.Pod.M, M.Ch.S, PG.Dip
Podiatric biomechanics involves assessing the structure, alignment and function of the feet and legs.
The average person takes between 5,000 to 18,000 steps per day. This can place stress on the foot, legs, pelvis and spine causing pain and discomfort.
Detailed assessment of underlying structure and function can help to identify factors that may be causing or contributing to discomfort. The use of special shoe inserts can help to control the way in which the foot and therefore legs function and thus reduce discomfort.
Andrew is available on Mondays at 9:00am to 1:00pm
Prices vary depending on the treatment necessary, but will be discussed with you at your initial assessment.
