Pregnancy Massage & Post - Pregnancy Massage

Massage and homeopathic treatments are especially effective and are beneficial not only to the mother, but to the baby as well:

Pregnancy

During the latter stages of pregnancy, hormones can often make a mother have feelings of emotional turmoil: feeling  stressed, tired and anxious. Massage can help by relieving muscle tension, moving lymph, aiding sleep and encouraging a general feeling of wellbeing.  Homeopathy can also help morning sickness, heartburn and hormonal imbalances as well as backache and general aches and pains due to the body stretching.

Post Pregnancy 

After a baby is born, the mothers hormones change radically, sometimes resulting in 'baby blues'. Gentle massage of the back, neck, face and scalp can reduce these conditions.  By using specific oils, stetch marks can become less obvious and the skin regains its elasticity.  Below are treatments to cover the different stages of pregnancy and motherhood:


Pregnancy Massage (‡)

Alan Hughes, Ann Durrant have had specialized training in pregnancy massage and knows what is safe for the mother and baby. This massage therapy is only available after the third month of pregnancy and is specifically tailored to reduce stress, decrease swelling in arms and legs and relieve aches and pains in muscles and joints and will leave the mother-to be relaxed and refreshed.

Post Pregnancy Massage

A full body massage, using vitamin E or Jojoba oil to speed up sluggish circulation, relieve an aching lower back and legs and over-stretched muscles.  This treatment gives an overall feeling of well-being.  This massage is also suitable for mothers who are breast feeding.

 A treatment with specialist oils (1hr) £35.00

BSc. (Hons) in Homeopathic Medicine from the University of Central Lancashire

Christine has been practicing Homeopathy for 5 years and is registered with the Society of Homeopaths.  As part of her qualification she has studied nutrition, counselling, comparitive medicine and anatomy and physiology. She has 3 clinics within the Lancashire area and has established a very large clientelle. 

Christine has a reputation to be able to diagnose both simple and complex conditions prescibing appropriate homeopathic remedies to provide successful treatments.

She is actively involved in raising public awareness about the benefits of homeopathic medicines and regularly gives talks on the subject.

The initial consultation for a chronic condition lasts for 1½  - 2 hours and is £55.00.  This includes any homeopathic medication.  Follow-up treatments are £35.00
